Shane Rowley has been appointed as reserves coach for the 2016 season.
Rowley returns to the club after three years and hopes to impart his football knowledge onto our young reserves players. The key focus for Rowley is to work with the coaching group to communicate and develop our reserves team into senior footballers.
"It is a terrific opportunity and I'm really looking forward to it", said Rowley of his appointment.
Rowley will join senior coach Ben Walker, under 19s coach Adam Lagerewskij and thirds coach Chris Rodrigues who have all been re-appointed to lead their respective teams in 2016.
In a joint venture with the Carrum Downs Junior Football Club, Jordan Thomas will coach a new under 17s team that will compete in the Mornington Peninsula competition. These under 17s players will have full access to all senior players and coaches as well as the opportunity to train with the main group in the preseason. This is a huge step forward in the future of our club.
Preseason kicks off on Monday November 30th. All new and returning players are reminded to keep an eye on the Facebook page for updates on preseason training venues.
